Toppy’s load transfer system is capable of managing different types of pallet. Since each system is specifically designed for each customer depending on its characteristics, we would like to describe this specific case:
The description of this cycle refers only on exchanging a GMA pallet with a CHEP pallet:
1. The operator drives by forklift the entire load on the receiving deck of “LTS”;
2. The two-side plates blocks and safely lifts the load in order to separate it from the pallet;
3. The GMA pallet (that need to be changed) moves automatically in the apposite pallet stacker;
4. In the meanwhile the other pallet stacker releases the CHEP pallet;
5. The CHEP pallet follows the plate movement for being positioned inside the receiveing deck, just under the load. Now the product is above the receiving deck;
6. The two-side plates opens for releasing the product on the deck plate;
7. The deck plate runs back allowing the product to comes down on the CHEP pallet in a soft way;
8. The 2 side-plates closes to stabilize and center the product on the destination CHEP pallet. In the meantime the GMA pallet is stacked in the stacker;
9. Finally, you are ready for picking up the load with the CHEP pallet.
