The entire pallet exchange process is semi-automatic. It starts when the load is inserted into the “V-Shape” by a forklift or pallet jack. Once inside, the load tilts up to 120° to separate the lower platform from the product (while keeping the pallet to be changed).
The origin pallet is then removed by the ‘Toppy I-Beetle’, which transports it automatically into the designated pallet magazine. Meanwhile, the new pallet emerges from the other magazine and is positioned over the lower platform of the ‘V-Shape’. At this stage, the new pallet tilts to rest against the product (which remains tilted). The pallet exchange concludes with the entire load tilting back to its initial position.

Our automatic solutions are capable of pallet changing for products with slip sheets underneath. They can also transfer a product from a pallet to just a slip sheet or from a wooden board to just a slip sheet.
